The Scaling Meetup

The Scaling Meetup

On April 18, Cyber Academy hosted a meetup at DUST in Tbilisi focused on blockchain scalability. With one-slide pitches, a relaxed atmosphere, and highly technical talks, the event brought together developers and founders from the local and global Web3 scene.

We explored the current state of L2 architectures, QA in Web3 product cycles, and the major upgrade coming to Lido.

Elshan Jafarov, Blockchain Engineer, Fluence Labs
L2 Overview
A breakdown of key scalability layers: Plasma, State Channels, and Rollups (Optimistic & ZK). Covered the tradeoffs, Ethereum’s decision to move away from sharding, and how danksharding enables more efficient rollup data availability.

Dania XO, QA Engineer, 1inch
QA engineer's Adventures in Web3land
An inside look at QA workflows for Web3 applications. From specs to automation, release cycles, and regression testing — with real examples from the 1inch ecosystem.

Dmitry Gusakov, Lido
Lido V2 unleashed
Deep dive into the new Ethereum withdrawal mechanics post-Capella. Explained how Lido’s withdrawal queue works, the role of oracles, the Lido buffer, and security in case of slashing. Presented the upcoming modular staking router aimed at decentralizing validator onboarding.
