At the fifth Dev Meetup Kyiv, two key topics were discussed: decentralized mesh networks and blockchain cybersecurity.

• 🔹 Mesh Networks: Why So Tough? | Boris Grigoryan
  Boris explained why mesh networks haven’t become a full-fledged alternative to the internet, breaking down existing routing protocols, their limitations, and implementation challenges. The talk also covered ways to bypass internet censorship, a comparison of mesh networks with Tor and IPFS, and successful and failed cases of decentralized networks.

• 🔹 Assessing Blockchain Security | Pavel Radchuk
  Pavel explored critical blockchain and smart contract vulnerabilities, analyzing bugs in Bitcoin and Ethereum, development mistakes, and attacks on Web3 applications. Special attention was given to protection methods and the role of bug bounty programs in testing blockchain projects.
