Urbit

Urbit is a decentralized platform that combines an operating system and a peer-to-peer network, designed to create user-owned personal servers. It includes the Urbit OS operating system and Urbit ID identity system, ensuring privacy, data sovereignty, and resilience. Urbit enables users to own their digital identities, run self-hosted services, and interact without relying on centralized platforms. The project aims to build a decentralized network where each node functions as an independent computing unit fully controlled by its owner.
